The Ruzika Company is a Design and Consulting Studio that specializes in Architectural Lighting Design, Theatre Design Consulting, Entertainment Lighting Design, and Stage Lighting Design. The Ruzika Company has provided award winning design consulting services for over 37 years. National and international projects include performing arts facilities, theme parks, casinos, hotels, restaurants, retail centers, historic buildings, libraries, museums, residences, and major entertainment events.
JOB DUTIES
- Preparation of Revit/CADD drafting as a collaborative member of the Company’s design team
- Preparation of equipment schedules and equipment data cut sheets
- Creation and production of visual image design concept presentations and graphics
- Assist with document management control
- Assist with the coordination of multiple projects simultaneously throughout design and construction phases
- Work under the supervision of the Project Designers
EXPERIENCE
- Autodesk Revit software (high proficiency)
- AutoCAD (minimum 2 years architectural, interior design, or theatrical project drafting experience)
- Bluebeam (high proficiency)
- AGI32 (advantageous, but not mandatory)
- InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp (advantageous, but not mandatory)
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Acrobat (high proficiency)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate Arts/Science, Bachelor’s, Bachelor of Fine Arts, or Master’s (foreign equivalent degrees considered)
- Minimum 2 years of experience or internship in a design studio environment
- Pre-employment testing assessment of Revit/CADD skills
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- Must be fully eligible to work in the United States (permanent legal US work status)
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to learn new software easily
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and collaboratively with multiple deadline pressures
- Expected long-term commitment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Remote friendly hybrid blend of in-person design collaboration sessions and work-at-home
- Daily time periods will be established for working remotely
- Weekly commutes to the office (reliable transportation, reasonable commute time, insurance)
- Must be able to occasionally travel for field surveys and project meetings
