Coordination of Lighting Design Supervision, project updates and deliverables within standard tracking reporting structure. This reporting framework is designed to improve consultant engagement, facilitate real-time communication and ensure that his work aligns perfectly with the strategic objectives of the ALS Design team.
Design review tasks for senior lighting consultant will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Evaluation of project documentation:Assess the completeness and accuracy of project documentation, including lighting plans, specifications and related documents.
Compliance with regulations:Ensure that the lighting design complies with relevant local, national and international regulations, standards and codes.
Selectionand installation of luminaires: Review the selection and placement of luminaires to ensureoptimal lighting, taking into account aesthetics, functionality and energy
Technical specifications and revision in regard to the local ecological guidelines: Review the technicalspecifications and compliance with any existing Guidelines of lighting fixtures and components for compatibility with the design intent and project requirements.
Energy efficiency analysis: Assess the energy efficiency of lighting design by reviewing the use of energy saving technologies, control systems and sustainable lighting.
Coordination with other disciplines: Collaborate with other disciplines, such as architects, electrical engineers and landscape architects, to ensure seamless integration of lighting elements into the overall project.
Lighting control systems: Review the design and specifications of lighting control systems, ensuringthat they meet the project objectives and user
Budget review: Review the lighting design budget, analyzing cost-effective solutions, alternative equivalent options and possible adjustments to suit the project constraints.
User experience and aesthetics:Evaluate the impact of lighting design on the user experience, aesthetics and overall ambience, recommending improvements or
Lighting calculation analysis: Use lighting simulation tools to assess the expected lighting performance and identify any areas for improvement.
Sustainability assessment: Assess sustainability aspects of lighting design, providing information of environmentally friendly practices and recommending improvements to reduce environmental impact.
Coordination of customers and stakeholders: Engage with clients and stakeholders to gatherfeedback on lighting design, address concerns and ensure alignment with project expectation.

als (architectural lighting solutions) is an architectural lighting consultancy, composed by architects, engineers and artists, all of them with a wide experience in this particular field, contributing from very different perspectives with creative, innovative and above all, technically feasible solutions, specialized since its beginnings in the development and implementation of lighting projects for singular architecture and spaces.
Our philosophy is to integrate ourselves within the design, architecture and engineering teams. Therefore, the perception of lighted spaces is the result of a unanimous, excellent and innovative view.
It is also worth mentioning the academic research and the teaching work in the Project Department of the Technical Architecture College of the University of Navarra that als designers perform. During 27 years of excellent collaboration it has resulted in new ideas and concepts, proved essential, in the approach to our work
